| Toga Hospitality announces its first Travelodge Hotels for New Zealand as part of an exclusive agreement to operate Travelodge Hotels across Australia and New Zealand. The hotel will be re-branded as Travelodge Palmerston North with an expected takeover date of 20 March, 2008. This is Toga Hospitality’s first hotel in New Zealand and the group is excited to add such a wonderful location to its portfolio. Rebranding work will take place during the next few months to complete the change of identity. Situated in the city centre, Travelodge Palmerston North is just a few minutes walk from lively cafes, shops, theatres, art galleries, museums and the convention centre. The hotel incorporates a beautiful three storey heritage building, built in 1927 and features 85 rooms with modern facilities and conference rooms for up to 500 people. |
